Why your food app and your scale should talk
How linking Nouri and Evenly helps your targets stay right as your weight changes.
Food targets, like how much energy and protein you need, depend partly on your body weight. If your weight changes and your targets do not, your plan slowly drifts out of date.
What linking does
When you link Nouri and Evenly:
- Evenly shares your weekly weight trend with Nouri. Not daily weigh-ins.
- Nouri updates your targets gently as your trend moves.
- Nouri shares your weekly averages for energy and protein, plus a note on saltier days, with Evenly.
- Evenly can then explain a higher morning: "Saltier dinner yesterday; it usually evens out."
Why trend, not daily weight
A daily number can swing by hundreds of grams. Updating food targets every day would be confusing and wrong. A weekly trend is steadier and fairer.
Protein and strength
If you are strength training, enough protein supports muscle repair. Your needs depend on your size, age, health and training. Nouri can suggest a target, and a dietitian can tailor it.
You stay in control
Linking is off by default and you choose what each app may see. You can pause or unlink at any time.
